My family has always enjoyed the lime and lemon cooler cookies, and I haven't been able to find them in a while. Does anyone have a recipe similar or like the cooler recipes? I've not been able to find such a crisp and flavored cookie to dunk in the sugar but it must be available somewhere. TIA

Licia, I would just use a basic shortbread recipe, add some lemon or lime zest and maybe a little of the juice; roll the dough up so you can cut small slices, and bake; then roll in powdered sugar while they're still warm.

There's a bakery here in Charleston that sells both lemon and lime ones, and they have them in all the stores - it's so hard to resist picking up that tiny little package for $4.99!!
