Heat oven to 350 and grease a 9 inch square baking pan. Stir together 1-1/2 cups flour1/2 cup sugar, and 3/4 tea. baking powder in large bowl.cut in 1 stick of cold butter or margarine til it is like coarse crumbs. Add 1 beaten egg,and blend well. Reserve 1 cup of mix, press remaining mix into bottom of prepared pan. Stir 3/4 cup of your favorite jelly to soften; spread evenly over the crust, Now sprinkle 1 cup of PB chips over jelly.Now stir together reserved crumbs and 2/3 cup of the chips sprinkle over the top. Bake 25-30 min or til light brown. Cool completely on wire rack then cut into bars and stand back if you have kids around
