I have a 3lb roast. I don't usually cook a roast this lean. I also have mushrooms, baby carrots, cipolline onions and fingerling potatoes. Ideas on throwing it together and how to cook? I'm leaning towards my crock pot.
Sounds like a good plan. That's a cut of meat that's good for pot roast. I don't use a slow cooker but I would cook it for 2-3 hours in a dutch oven. QAlso, I would add the veggies after a while so they are not mush.
