Hi! I'm trying to replicate this popular dish from a steakhouse I like. They call it Beef Hot Pot but it's probably known by other names. Let me describe it:
It comes in a soup bowl with a thick layer of browned melted cheese and mashed potato on top. (It looks like French onion soup from afar). When you dig in, brown gravy oozes out. Inside are wonderful layers of button mushrooms, bite-size tenderloin strips, onions, more cheese, mashed potato, all moistened with the gravy. Really yum!
Does anyone have a recipe for something like this? Thank you!
