Made this for dh and thought I'd share it with you.
I took 2lbs lean ground beef, to this in a separate bowl I mixed 3 eggs beaten,salt and ground black pepper,about a 1/2 c. pecorino romano cheese,1 Tab. evoo,3 cloves crushed garlic,2 Tab. finely chopped fresh flat leaf parsley, about 7 leaves shredded fresh basil,mix in the meat and add about 3/4 cup unseasoned dry bread crumbs, a little at a time as you mix..You can then shape into patties it should make 10-12 . I fried mine in some evoo, but next time I plan to do them on the grill.DH said they were tasty and not dry and didn't need much in the way of condiments he just used butter on his bun along with tomato and lettuce.
