Hi,

I have some stir fry beef (beef already cut up into strips) and need some ideas for it! Just not a typical stir fry!

Thankyou!

Heres my 2 cents

Ingredients
1 cup oil (vegetable)
1-2 tablespoons chili oil
3 scallions (white part only) Sliced.
Orange Peel (dried) (if you don;t have any dried, bake over low heat until dry, or buy in the spice section)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1-1.5 teaspoon soy
.5 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with water

Coat the beef in cornstarch, if you want, marinate the beef in egg and soy first.
Once beef is coated, fry until slightly golden in vegetable oil. Remove oil. Clean wok.
Add chili oil to wok on medium/medium high heat until hot.
Add minced scallion and orange peel and stir for 3 seconds. Add the garlic and stir for another second. Add chili sauce, soy and the cornstarch water mixture and stir until sauce congeals, DO NOT BURN YOUR SAUCE. Turn the heat down if you must or even remove the wok.

Add beef and stir to coat, serve immediately.

I love to stir fry my beef/chicken in a mixture of soy sauce, garlic salt, fresh garlic, duck sauce, chinese mustard, and beef broth. Comes out soo good. I sometimes add a pinch of ginger. My mom's recipe from years ago,.. She always served it over white rice.
