I am going to make this following a recipe I picked up from here quite awhile ago. How do you serve it? Sides? Appreciate any help.

Hi Lindalou. I love Kalua pig, and I do it in my Nesco Roaster. When the meat is done, I rough shred it, and set aside to keep warm, along with the reserved juices. We enjoy cabbage braised in some of the liquid back into the Roaster. A good pineapple cole slaw is good with it if you don't like cooked cabbage. Some seamed white rice on the side is traditional, as is macaroni salad. I love fresh chunked pineapple on the side also. For me, it's hard to not serve a green veggie with any dinner but for this I don't.

MMM, Kalua Pig, ONO!!
We're having our new landlords downstairs for supper tomorrow and I'm making Kalua Pig with Cabbage, steamed white Rice, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Ahi Poke and chunked fresh Pineapple.

Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls are good too!

Let us know how it goes Lyndalou, oh and photos if you can too please :)
