This is great because I love to ask this question to freinds. Most people come in at about 3 years old; choc and middie at before 2 are really unusual. Mine is that I was living in France and on a hot summer day I'm playing under a hose my mom (I assume) rigged over a clothesline, shower-style. Mom told me once that it wasn't a real memory, it was remembering a home movie. Then I told her that I "stole" that big green bowl I'm playing with in the home movie from a neighbor's back porch and got scolded for it by her, and the neighbor (also one of my mom's best freinds) came out and told Mom it was OK, let her play and they sat down and watched me. Then she knew the memory was real, because she hadn't remembered that detail until I said it and it came back to her. I think first memories are mostly impressions -- the warm day, the cool water, collecting it in that big plastic bowl and pouring on myself and other things in the yard.
