Yes, and I think I'm only up to growing about 400 of those varieties, but I'm working on it!

Hey pepp, have you ever tried growing Moreton tonatoes?
It's a hybrid that the seeds are only available from Rutgers.

My neighbor grew some last year, and they were fantastic. However, they are so thin skinned that they aren't grown comercially because of shipping problems and skin cracking.

BT, A friend of mine grew those many years ago - in the 90s sometime, before they dropped them. They were very good, but you are right - they were thin skinned, so they split easily. And I don't think I'd try them now, as the temps are much hotter here (in the area they were grown) than they used to be, and many varieties that used to grow well, don't do so well, due to the heat. The reason I'm always looking for heat resistant varieties.
