Queensland, and New South Wales have coasts on the Pacific Ocean, Victoria
on both the Pacific and Southern Oceans, South Australia on the Southern
Ocean, Western Australia on the Southern and Indian Oceans and the Northern
Territory on the Timor Sea. The island of Tasmania is in the Southern Ocean,
separated from the mainland of Australia by Bass Strait.
