TRUTH !!
The record for the largest hailstone in the US belongs to an 8-inch wonder
that fell near Vivian, South Dakota, in 2010. It was eight inches in
diameter, eighteen inches in circumference, about the size of a volleyball,
and weighed in at over two pounds.
Hailstones caused over a Billion dollars in damage in 2018. A hailstone the
size of a tennis ball is falling at a speed of about 100 miles an hour and
can cause serious damage to a windshield or a head ...
Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska see the most hailstorms each year.
