Even women can use them...

I think in most households women are looking for cooking tools that even men can use. Our daughter has her husband trained to use the rice cooker, but hasn't had success with anything further.

Cooked the beans in the Instant Pot. Bacon, onion, garlic, beef broth and dry beans (UNSOAKED). Cooked 40 minutes. Firm to the bite (al dente') but not crunchy.

I googled it and there wasn't even any anecdotal evidence of that. Let's just be hopeful. If an instapot isn't making MEAT then there is little hope for its success.
