ISO: A Bean Soup Recipe

Does anybody know the name or where I can find a specific soup. I tasted a soup that I think was called "Johnny (can't remember rest of it). It has a box of an Uncle Ben's flavored rice, black-eye peas, ham, green pepper, & etc. Any help would be appreciated. I thought the soup tasted good and it was something different.

I think that you are in search of a traditional Southern dish called "Hopping John" or "Hoppin John".

Try Googling both terms and you'll find hundreds of recipe alternatives.
