This will serve 3-4 it's sweet and oh so good. Make sure to serve it right away.
Of 3 pints of the berries set aside 2 cups chop the bigger portion and add to a blender add a 1/4 c. sugar, pinch of cardamom, and 2 cups of white wine or rose. Blend til smooth.Transfer to a soup tureen check sugar and add more if you want it sweeter.Thin with more wine to get proper soup consistency or some sparkling water instead of wine.Season with fresh ground black pepper and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Slice the remaining strawberries spoon over about 2-3 Tab' sugar and refrigerate I serve this soup in individual glass bowls with the sliced berries and ladle the soup over then top with more black pepper then sprinkle with torn mint.
