Another newbie here...

Hi everyone

I joined the site a few weeks ago, but haven't gotten around to posting yet. My name is Amy, I'm 33 and located in New Orleans. I really just started teaching myself to cook a few years ago - the joke in my family is that the women don't cook, we just marry men that can cook. Anyway, I'm always looking for new recipes and to expand my cooking knowledge so I'm looking forward to being part of this forum.
