Long time amatuer cook, still kinda a newbie to forum posting.
Yes, I'm a male, but don't hold that against me. I've been cooking for probably 40 years, due mostly to having a mom who loves to cook and encouraged her five children to learn to care for themselves. I enjoy cooking most foods, though I'm not as successful with pastries, pies and cakes as my wife. I cook indoors on the stove, outdoors on the grill or in my dutch ovens or my smoker, and have cooked more than a meal or two on the trail in many outdoor locations.
I look forward to picking up many helpful hints from those more experienced that I (that would be the BIG majority of y'all!!); Hopefully I can add a tidbit or two along the way!
