Well, after replying to several posts over the past few days, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm a computer tech living in Hampton Roads, VA with my lovely bride. I'm not a chef, won't ever be a chef, don't want to be a chef... I respect chefs, but 40-80 hours a week in a kitchen isn't for me. That being said, I do love to cook. I love to experiment with food, and wish I had more time and money to do so. My family owned a continental cuisine restaurant when I was a boy, and I spent a good bit of time in the kitchen there peeling carrots and being generally underfoot. My father taught me a great deal about being curious about food and not being afraid to try anything once.
I'm always eager to learn new recipes, new techniques, and generally new information. I've enjoyed reading the posts so far and look forward to joining in on some more of them.
