Hello, everyone-- I signed on to this site to answer a reader's question about koldolmar (Swedish cabbage rolls), having just made a batch.:chef:

Welcome to the site, wrstewart!
It's so nice you are here!

Do you have a camera nearby? We'd love to see your koldomar!

Welcome to the DC family. I'm sure you've gotten a look around and probably are familiar with how we work. It's easy, we all love food, sharing what we know, and learning new things about cooking. And we're a freindly bunch from all over the world. Hope to see lots from you.:)

Welcome aboard! I am sure you will have a great time here. I am new too and have found everyone to be very friendly and helpful.

Thanks for the greetings. I've lived in the area for nearly thirty years (from Jamestown, NY--large Swedish community there). I don't have a digital camera, so you'll just have to imagine the koldolmar (sorry). And don't worry--we stopped eating lutfisk when I was a wee one! Do check out the koldolmar recipe and comment.
