Not only is my birthday close to Christmas, it is also the shortest day
of the year. (depending on your calendar, of course.)
Got a window herb garden.... now to figure out how to keep my cats from
chomping my herbs! LOL
Had some great Vietnamese food for lunch and pizza for dinner.

Sounds like you had a great day GF! Very multicultural!! I guess if you have just had the shortest day of the year, we must have had (or are about to have) the longest day of the year!
Put in some cat grass so that they will be attracted to that instead of your herbs. They're probably just after something for their digestion if the cats are solely indoors. Other than to have a sniff, mine ignore the herbs and go to their cat thyme plants, normal grass or anything that is more interesting than a static herb!! LOL
