I've been a member for quite a while, but I chose to remain stealth until now. I wish to thank you all for help you have unknowingly provided. I'm a student of cognitive linguistics in Poland and I deal mainly with metaphors. I decided to write my MA thesis about metaphors people use when talking about cooking and food in general, and I found your forum to be a real treasure trove! Thank you so freaking much, because if it weren't for you, I'd never be able to gather enough material to analyse.
