Hello from California
I'm looking for a Beef Heart with Mushrooms Recipe. My mother used to make it when I was a kid. It was simmered on the stove then she'd add mushrooms and made a gravy that would be put over mashed potatoes. Anyone have any suggestions?

Welcome to DC! Manteca, we use that a lot in Mexican cooking, masa dough for tamales and carnitas. Can't help with the recipe you're looking for, sorry.
