Hello from Washington State!!!

Hello to all!!
I am a 45 year old woman and love to cook, being Itallian I think it's in the genetic code or something.
I have no particular interests, and no favorite food, I enjoy foods of different cultures, but draw the line at bugs and grubs. I also like to try new recipes and cooking techniques.
This past summer I discovered smoking food in a terra cotta garden pot, what fun that was!!! I was surprised to find that you could smoke nearly any kind of food and make even cheap, tough cuts of meat tender and tasty!!
Look forward to "meeting" all of you!! and sharing interests and maybe a few recipes?
