Here is a Basic Mayonnaise recipe:
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 cup olive oil
2 tbsps hot water, approximately
Blend or process egg yolks, juice and mustard until smooth. Add olive oil gradually in a thin stream while motor is operating. Add enough water to bring mayonnaise to desired consistency. Blend until smooth.
