Hi everyone!

I didn't know whether to answer someone's post or start a new one, so I decided to start one. Just wanted to say Hello, and I'm really glad I found this sight. I found it by searching for milk-less cornbread. I found some great ideas about using soy milk instead of regular milk. I have been a southern cook all my life. Now I am learning to use spices and flavorings instead of bacon to season my food. HA! I am a diabetic, and look forward to learning from everyone here.

Welcome Deb! Some of us are diabetic and others of us cook for diabetics. Ask away!

Howdy! Welcome to DC.

Hi deb. We are both new here but for me i choose to have an answer to your post for my first post here.
So here it goes, welcome deb. I certainly assure you that you will find a lot of here that could give a bunch of knowledge. Because i've been reading a lot here for a couple of days. They're are diabetics here to that could help you answer the questions in your mind right now.
