Hi, New Here
Hi, I'm from Minnesota. I'm not new to cooking, but new to the forum. I enjoy making things from scratch, especially cuisines from different parts of the world. My favorite celebrity chef is Julia Child.

Welcome aboard!!
Having Julia as your favorite is a good start. She's one of mine too.

Welcome to Discuss Cooking, Emily. Julia Child is also one of my favourite celebrity chefs. I have her book, The Way to Cook. I don't think I would buy a book with that title from anyone else.

Hi Emily. Welcome to DC.
This summer, after watching Julia on You Tube many times, and one more time, I successfully made an omelet using her technique. Otherwise, I am an expert at scrambled eggs. You picked a good favorite chef to have in your corner.

Welcome to the forum, Emily!
A favorite book that I have of Julia Child's is
From Julia Child's Kitchen. My Mom's favorite birthday recipe was from that book - the Pork Ragout recipe. All of her books are great - I just watched one of her shows today!
