I'm new too

My name is Mimi and I'm excited to join a forum where other people love food and cooking! I expect I'll learn a lot...

I'm 33, live in Canada and just joined a dinner club called "Liquids and Solids" where each couple participating brings 1 course and a wine pairing. I'm looking forward to bouncing ideas off of all of you!

The Liquids and Solids Club formed out of an idea that a friend of mine had after finding out that I too was a 'foodie'. We're pretty much the only one each other knows, but we thought it would be fun to try and get some of our other friends on board... So far, they all like the idea, but the two of us are really the only ones who get pretty excited. Of course, our husbands get pretty excited at the thought of eating!


We have another dinner coming up on Saturday the 13th, so I'm sure I'll be fishing for the most fabulous dessert ever!
