Cooking is probably my favorite and most rewarding hobby. Always looking for ideas......

Inspirations are Alton Brown & Rick Bayless .

I'm not one to read from a recipe book. Most of my cooking is done on the fly and I usually dont use measuring spoons. Hope i can share good ideas with everyone here

Thank you all for the welcomes..........Does anyone know about cooking with Turmeric? I read that is was good for lowering choesterol and thought i'd start using it in my cooking. Any help or suggestions would be great.

petey, turmeric either fresh or ground is commonly used in Asian cooking especially in curries and to flavour rice. Perhaps you might want to check this forum for recipes and ideas.
