This forum is just what I have been looking for. Having raised five kids and married to a professional chef, I still have questions. Have been cooking for more than 60 years. Learned to cook and bake on a wood burning stove. :chef:

Welcome to DC, Addie. How are you adjusting to cooking for two? I'm 65 and cooking just for myself. In order to make my favorites, I rely on the freezer a lot.

hello addie, and welcome to dc. with your history, i'll bet you have some interesting things to share!:) btw, how do you share a kitchen with your chef husband?

Hi and welcome. Can't wait to see what you have to share.

A big welcome to you Addie.....you'll really like it here....good people, good food, and great fun.

Do you feel intimidated when you cook for your :chef: husband?
No. We had a hard and fast rule. When he was in the kitchen, I could stay, watch and ask questions. When I was in the kitchen he couldn't not make any nasty remarks. He would just sit and read his paper. A rule we never broke. No critisism. But we had a lot of laughs when the new bride was cooking. :chef:
