This sauce is excellent on baby back ribs, country style ribs, pork chops or turkey breast or burgers.

GINGER MOLASSES BBQ SAUCE

6 Tbs cider vinegar
2 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs ketchup
1-1/2 tsp molasses (regular or robust, NOT blackstrap)
1 Tbs minced garlic
1 Tbs minced fresh hot pepper of your choice, with or without seeds
1/2 Tbs minced peeled fresh ginger
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)

Stir together all ingredience into a 1 to 1-1/2 qrt sauce pan and briskly simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until thickened and reduced to about 1/2 cup, about 3 minutes. Transfer sauce to a medium bowl and cool to room temperature.
