Once again I got a taste of some grilled chicken topped with mango habanero sauce at my grocery store. I refuse to buy a 10 ounce bottle of sauce for over $10 when I can possibly make it at home. Any suggestions as to how to make it? The ingredients called for mangos, sugar and habaneros (no clue on the measurements). It was a thick sauce so I will probably add some cornstarch to it. Should I cook the mangos a bit to soften? Suggestions anyone, or does anyone have a recipe for it?

Thank you Jennyema. I found the sauce recipe on the site you provided and I'm working on it right now. Here's the recipe for anyone interested.

Good, the recipe has no cornstarch. You would not want to do that. The thickness comes from cooking the fruit and sugar.

This is just what I was looking for today. This website Rocks. We are going to use this sauce on some coconut tile fish. Should be delish!
