Hi i just had a question regarding marinading meats if i was to marinate chicken or tri tip and then freeze the meat while in the marinade for 2 weeks or even longer is that ok?
 
Yes this is fine to do. I do it all the time. I have a Foodsaver vacuum packer and when meat is on sale I buy a bunch. I them put the meat in a Foodsaver bag along with the marinade. I then vacuum an freeze it. When I pull it out to thaw, the meat marinades. It works out great!
 
thanks i was just checking i didnt know it was ok to do cause i know certain acids in marinades start to cook the food
