HI everyone,

I am looking for some general rub recipes for pork ribs, the problem is they have to be pretty mild and no salt or sugar.

Thanks in advance for any help

Season them with Paprika,Onion Powder, and a bit of Chili Powder(not red pepper).......then rub it in with yellow mustard. You will not taste the mustard when the ribs are done. I like Mcormicks Seasonings.

or take rub recipes you have and just leave out the salt & sugar.

thanks

thank you both for your replies.....

I can not use most, if any premixed spices.....the salt is a big reason behind this.......

I have become very good at marinading meats and mixing that with different woods for smoking purposes.
The main spice combination I have used came from emeril where I leave out the salt and short the hotter spices.
