I also make flavored sugar :chef: using fruit oils and Monin syrup. I use the flavored sugar in my coffee if I have an urge for flavored coffee. I have Amaretto sugar, Cherry Sugar, Toasted Almond Mocha sugar among a few . ;) You can also use the flavored sugar in oatmeal , making ice cream, whatever else you use sugar. I think you can use Splenda too tho I haven't tried it for flavorings. I mix up the sugar and oil in the mini food processor. If you don't have a processor , you probably could just put some sugar and the oil in a plastic bag and shake it up.

I make flavored simple syrups for drinks. My favorite is mint symple syrup that I use for iced tea and mojitos during the summer.

I don't make any flavored sugars per se, but, I had a nice large crystal sugar on a marguarita (raspberry) at Chili's. I think it was vanilla, it was good. Yum!
