For Christmas a nephew gave me a bottle of Don Bruno Sherry Vinegar. I have never used or had sherry vinegar so I wasn't quite sure what to do with it.

I found a nice salad recipe and decided I would try that.

The salad had figs and Roquefort in it and the dressing with some olive oil and the vinegar. Ok.. now I am hooked. Very bold flavor but smooth. A hint of sweet.

Now I just need to figure out what else to use it for. :rolleyes:

I would use it when making cole slaw dressing;

In Asian cooking, it could place any other vinegar called for when making sour-style dishes;

And as the final touch, combined 3/1 with olive oil and then spinkled liberally over a meatball and marinara sub sandwich. (Ummmm!!!)

It's ubiquitous in Spanish food. Use it in gazpacho, seviche, soups, etc. It adds a bit of authenticity to tapas.
