1 habanero (or less to taste), minced
1 jalapeno (or less to taste), minced
2 green onions, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 inches of cucumber, seeds removed, chopped
1 avocado, chopped
1 mango, chopped
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger powder (1 inch fresh, grated)
2 TBSP fresh cilantro
Mix well, let rest for at least 1/2 hour for flavors to blend.
The avocado kind of melts, creating a smooth and velvety feeling,
and the peppers kick it up nicely. I eat cayenne peppers as snacks,
so I didn't find this particularly "hot". Personally I'd recommend half the
fresh peppers for most people.
I had this on a Trinidad Green Seasoning chicken and rice mixture on tortillas, and it was just lovely.
