Ice anyone?

Thought I'd pass along info on my latest favorite kitchen appliance.

We love this thing!! I opted against having an ice maker in our refrigerator for several reasons. They take up way too much room in the freezer and our tap water is terrible. Since we use large amounts of ice in the summer, we ordered this nifty ice maker the other day and couldn't be more pleased! We use bottled water in it, and the cubes can be made in three sizes.
I have a shelf for it on the service porch, off of the kitchen, because of my limited counter space. It's nice looking and it would be fine on a counter if you have room.

How much ice does it make at a time, Kayelle? I have a friend who lives in Mexico, she just got an icemaker that only puts out a handful at a time. It looks to be the same size as yours. This might work better for her.

This machine really cranks it out, DL. I'd say it cranks out 3-4 cups of ice every few minutes, continuously as long at it has a water supply, and the ice is removed to make room for more.
