I have recently bought an induction cook top. Using induction cook top is relatively new in India. Is it as useful as gas oven or there are some limitations? Please give me some suggestions or advice. Thankyou.

Congratulations on your new stove :)

I have used an induction cook top and they are fast and keep the kitchen nice and cool but you will need to make sure that you cookware is compatible. Solid aluminum or cooper pans and ceramic dishes won't work well. You can read about this in more detail here or perhaps in the manual that came with your cooktop.

Don't be alarmed if you hear a soft humming sound when you are using it - it's normal.

I found that mine cooked very quickly and so making sauces required some attention to avoid burning or overcooking. Have fun using it - you'll get used to it quickly.

Thanks. I have bought induction friendly cookwares.

They are very fast so I am always in watching while cooking. It will take time to get accustomed with it.
