There is a big difference between Commercial and "Commercial Type" Stoves for home use.Pay attention to the fire and vent requirements. A Commercial stove may even require a fire supression system in the vent system, depending on the local code. No Commercial stove can be located within a foot to eighteen inches from a cumbustable wall. The venting systems are huge, the fans are loud and must be ducted to the exterior. They must also be cleaned of grease on a periodic basis to prevent grease fires. There is a great story about adapting a commercial stove in a residential property on the Chef2Chef website in the cooking blogs-I think the remodel cost $18k to install the stove properly, not counting the cost of the stove.
