I've been going crazy trying to find this deep fryer I saw on an infomercial a few years ago. It's round, and uses a few tablespoons of oil to fry the food, rather than a few cups. You placed the oil in the middle, and it circulated the oil around. Any help is greatly appriciated! Thank you

Just FYI, the food, if deep fried correctly, will absorb the same amount of oil if it is fried in 1/4 cup or 1/4 gallon of oil.

Somewhere back in the recesses of my mind, one cell recalls this product. Wasn't it a frying pan type thing with a hill in the middle and a lid?

DeLonghi has made a fryer that rotates and uses less fat for some time now. They work very well, and are generally available in housewares departments... and probably on line.
