This is what happens when you drop a 7.25 quart LeCrueset with a 5.5 lb pot roast in it onto your porcelain stovetop. It's about an inch long. At least the LeC is OK.

Ouch! Sorry about that Andy ... I think I'll stick with our cast iron grates! Was your pot roast tastey at least?
 
The pot roast was delicious!

I have cast iron grates. This chip is on the front edge of the top in the middle of the stove.
 
Coulda been worse. Coulda been your foot....

Did you save the pot roast? Is there a fixit kit for your stovetop?
 
Owww (insert wincey face), I guess I was envisioning a glass top ... Like Pacanis said, it could have been your foot!
