ISO help with porcelain coated enamel griddle

I am considering buying a porcelain coated cast iron griddle, but want to know i you can use a metal scraper/flipper? Anyone have any info on this.

I have several pieces of Le Creuset, which is enamel-coated cookware. I use metal on mine all the time, but I use it gently. Never had a problem.
