New Slow Cooker

hello! I just recieved an early mothers day present--a 8 quart slow cooker(every mothers dream ) I know there has been many posts about slow cookers, recipes...i just need recipes for such a big unit. example-roast chicken with veggies---how much liguid(stock,wine or water) would i use?
It did come with a recipe book but no chicken recipe..
Any help or sites that i could look at for recipes would be a great help.

As far as I have been able to tell ... there isn't much difference between a 4-qt and a 6-qt slow cooker as far as recipes go.
