Hi fellas,
I bought my first wok recently and I seasoned it. I am not sure of results that are good or bad. My wok is all black in the middle and low-side. I checked pictures on google and they are not so black as my. Could I overdo it that I have burned my new wok? I tried to cook some food and tastes good and its nonsticky, but I am not really sure about results... Eventually can I reseason it completely like scrubbing all off and start again? Many thanks for all replies,
Luke

Hi PrincessFiona and thx for reply. It doesnt taste burn. However, layer of patina seems to be very thick since first seasoning. Also when clean my wok after use, then dry it with high temp. Then I oil it with white kitchen roll and I can still see black residue on paper towel. Is this normal?

All right. You calmed me down as I have worried a lot:) Thx for Your help. I will post picture of it later on and If you could look on it that would be great! Thx again for Your help and goodl luck with Your cooking!

Seasoning is primarily intended to prevent rusting. It also provides a slick non-stick surface. If you have that, it's time to sit back and enjoy.

Thx again for replies! I will post picture in few minutes as I just came back home and I need to charge my phone.

I have attempt to take a photo, but quality is very low due to low light (its 7PM here):/ I will definitely post photos tomorrow.

So here is picture of my wok after seasoning and I have used it for few times. So, what do You think is it ok or do I need reseason it?
