Is bamboo not wood?

Bamboo is technically a grass, but can be as strong as wood. It grows very fast and has the support system to match.

I like using chopsticks, and have found the techniques for using them vary from one food to the next. If you use the chopstick regularly, it becomes 2nd nature. Noodle dishes are very easy, while something like certain sushi rolls can be a challenge depending on size, and how well they are assembled. I prefer wooden chopsticks, as you can cook with them, determine if oil temp is hot enough, and grip foods a little better. i can eat any rice with them, but prefer a sticky rice that makes clumps.
