My very favorite knife is a Henckel - 7" chef or utility knife. I'm not sure of the proper name. I was cutting thru a hunk of Asiago cheese tonight & the blade snapped in half. This is not a cheap Henckel - it's from the Professional S series. I've had it for 9 or 10 years. My first reaction was total shock - after that I was/am so bummed out. I hope that I can get it replaced. And I really hope that it's under warranty.
