A while ago I was talking to my buddy Tom at Jende Industries LLC about the beautiful granite basins he sells for sharpening and told him I'd love to get one for my Edge Pro. After a few calls discussing it I sent him a rough sketch made in paint. He said it looked doable. After tinkering with it for awhile he said he felt it was ready. Slow boat shipping is the only sanely priced option from Taiwan (he's a classical musician & reed knife sharpener who lives there with his wife and kids). Now, about six weeks later it has arrived!:D

Alright, here's a few pics!

The real bonus- now I can use the old Pyrex dish it used to live in to actually cook with!:ROFLMAO:

You know, I mispoke- it is marble. When we first discussed the pool I wanted granite but he talked me into marble. Still, it's a beauty!

Couldn't afford this one, so I opted for the Spyderco Sharpmaker. Very happy with the results.
