Hi there. I'm looking to buy myself a nice knife for my birthday and after reading around a little, it sounds like a Tojiro would be a good choice. However I'm a little confused by the pricing.

From the Tojiro site, the prices seem to range from around £80-180.

Whereas the site below seems to sell them from around £30+

Are the cheaper ones of non-comparable quality, and is there a way I can tell ?

(Apologies for the non-parsed links I haven't been here long enough to post proper ones, they may need "www." putting on the beginning)

it could be that the other site sells the older models. I got a knife from that site, not a tojiro though. I'm pretty happy with the quality.
