Hey BD, you okay? Don't see much of you lately. I come back and you leave or something? LOL!! Or are you just busy with gigs? How is the weight loss going? I have lost 15 since the fluid fiasco and still have 35-40 to go. But this time it is true fat so it won't some off so easy.

Thanks, BD, I can always count on you. Hmm, Mystery Diagnosis! Don't know that one. Have to see if we get it her in the great wet north! If your daughter keeps watching it she may become a doctor....would they accept it as 1st year med? LOL

I do trust my doctor and am happy that she is not diagnosing but sending me on to a specialist, but it is the waiting that gets me. I guess shaking isn't the right word. My hands kind of twitch and release things I am carrying or I will miss a step when I am walking. I have a friend with MS as well and when I first described them she said "do you have MS?". Next day at the doctor she said she wanted to look at autoimmune diseases and again mentioned MS. I don't think so, but they have to rule it out.

But I really appreciate your advice about doctors and agree with you completely. I appreciate your prayers even more. Yeah, He listens to me once in awhile too.....told me this BD character is someone I can call friend.

Only read it if you want to know details about my silly health. Mini version is that I am waiting for an MRI (and a neurologist) to test me for MS - the shaking hands, dizziness, etc. But on top of that I had a pain flare that I couldn't self-manage as I normally do because of the new symptoms so my doc gave me a new medication which helped with that but my feet and legs swelled up like huge balloons - and it was starting to effect me all over. I went down in dose and then off but it didn't help. Went to doctor Tuesday not being able to breath well, swollen and feeling crummy. She looked at my feet and sent me for a barrage of tests for everything including congestive heart failure - which it wasn't. New medication has started bringing it down and I am feeling much better - and am learning to cope with the other symptoms better. So that is it in a nutshell! 60 pound, WOW! That is great. Keep up the good work.

I just noticed that Alix and I are the only two who write on your wall! I guess that makes us your number one fans!

Aww, that is so sweet. I have missed your wonderful sense of humour and your kind heart. But I think I may be back on the road to recovery (I will try to write in my "My Latest Challenge" thread today or tomorrow. This has been one of the toughest health issues I think I have had to get through, and the fact that it took me away from my DC family (not having energy to type) made it worse. How is the diet going?

Do you realize by putting it on my wall YOU just gave it to anyone who reads my wall? But considering you are the only one who has posted there in ages, I think you are safe! LOL! Would you like me to erase it now that I have read it? I can't swallow the computer unfortunately so it will have to be a delete! I feel very honoured your shared it with me. I have several "secrets" that I would be happy to share just with you!

Oh, I used to make some awesome beef jerky but I used a marinade from the original dehydrator I had (yet another thing I lost from my first marriage along with my cast iron skillets and marble rolling pin, but they were a small price to pay....). I have never been able to find it first so maybe you might feel like sharing yours? I won't be offended if you don't.

My latest project is to come up with a dinner for a visiting African Children's Choir. It will be a buffet type with frood from members of our church. Apparently they eat whatever is put in front of them.....which gives me more incentive to make sure it is special!!!
