Hi Bilby, Thank you for your comforting message. We have a similar story and I am sure it plays into Rich's decision for having no treatment. We knew for 21 days that his father had cancer, never did find out where all he had it things happened so quickly. But his dad lived 6 days following massive chemo. No doubt the chemo killed him. And dh's paternal grandfather died of stomach cancer, but we don't know anything about his case, other than he was 48 when he died. It is indeed a brave decision!

LOL!! I love the FB games. I'm currently hooked on Spider Solitaire medium difficulty. My goal is to hit 2500 points. I'm not quite there yet.

Thanks for the info about the declawing. I'm very passionate about it so I know I'd better avoid the topic altogether.

I like your idea about posting. I think you really helped defuse things a bit there. Much appreciated.

Is it getting hot there? We are unseasonably warm at the moment. Temps up to 30 and its the middle of september. Very odd. I like it though!

And I love every word of your "very long posts". I am praying that when you summer comes there will be no (or very few small) fires. We had a bad time in 2006 but nothing like this. It has really opened my eyes. The 2200 people in my niece's community have been let back in their homes, but there is still an evacuation alert. It is so hard to believe that a whole community could have been wiped out but I know that was a reality in your country last year. Take care and find that happy medium with the food

Penny, I have you here and on Facebook and we never seem to connect. I hope you are well. I got thinking of you specially as the fires in our area got so out of control and remembered how they hit your country so hard last year. Australia is sending 18 firefighters and New Zealand is sending 8 to help us out. My niece and nephew are up there helping with the evacuation (he runs the search and rescue and she works as a paramedic) and on top of that are in danger of losing their home. Anyway, really just wanted to say hi.
