    hello bolas!
how are you coming along, bolas? we sure would love an update now and again.:) as you can probably see, we are here trying to roast ducks, make shepherd's pies, work on diets, and run music threads without you, and i gotta tell ya, it ain't easy!! i hope you are feeling better and better, and that with the passage of time your good health is returning, the strength in your body as well. when you feel up to it, maybe type a few lines and let us know how things are, how you spend your time, bolas. we miss you--that's a fact. take care, amd keep a good thought.... :)

Hi Bolas!!! I hope you are well, and keeping your little brother out of trouble. You should know that you both are sorely missed. Check out the "MIA" thread, as well as the "Luca" thread to see how many people have been asking about you both.

Good to have you back, bud.

Here's hoping Mr. Peepee (that's what we call ours in my house with an 8 year old and all) is fully on the mend.

Bolas, you asked about my knee problems in one of the threads. I destroyed my cartilege when I was 15 while having my 3rd ski lesson. I had surgery and in those days they removed it all. Only my doctor left fragments that wore away at the knee cap. Three years ago I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and my knee was the first to go. I had a full replacement in August 2008 and one month later had a second surgery to adjust the plastic plate which was too big. The trouble is I seem to grow internal scar tissue at an extreme rate. The leg is bad again but the surgeon and I have agreed no more surgery as it will keep getting worse. So I need to get used to this chronic pain (I already have a triple back fracture in my lumbar region. But I still do wedding and other cakes and this summer may get back to some light catering. Thanks for asking.
